Non-Negotiables

Your morals and values are not suggestions, they are the rules you live by, the standards you set for yourself, and the boundaries you place on those around you.

The moment you create a gray area, you open the door for others to test, question, or overlook what you stand for. It’s not just about holding others accountable, it’s about holding yourself accountable too. Boundaries are yours to set, and yours to uphold.

If you don’t take your standards seriously, no one else will. And while it may feel tempting to bend them for someone you care about, remember: the right people won’t need you to compromise.

They’ll respect your values.

They’ll adjust.

Stay true to yourself, and others will have no choice but to do the same.

The Beauty Between

Most people focus so much on the destination that they lose sight of the moments that make the journey meaningful.

The good, the bad, and even the ugly all shape who we become in the end. If our eyes are fixed only on the finish line, we miss the little moments in between, the ones that bring us joy, build our confidence, or even make us question our path. Each moment has meaning in its time.

Life will always have its chaos, but slowing down to notice the scenery along the way gives the destination its true value. Appreciate the small moments in your day, and be thankful for each step that brings you closer to where you’re going.

Because the journey is just as important as the destination.

Pay it Forward

Before we can truly accept the differences in others, we must first accept our true selves.

Often, our judgment of others is a reflection of what we’re hiding within, the parts of ourselves we fear will be judged. When we see someone living authentically, it can be hard to celebrate them if we haven’t yet found the courage to do the same. Social media has only made this more complicated, blurring the lines between who we are and who we think we should be.

I want to encourage you to embrace every part of yourself; flaws, strengths, quirks, and all. After all, you only get one you. Appreciate yourself deeply, so you can extend that same appreciation to others.

Job Well Done Virda Bean

To bring life into a world that often feels lifeless — that is everything.

To mother the motherless — that is priceless.

To uplift others through your sayings, your laughter, and your contagious light — that’s a gift not many can give.

Your time on earth was spent pouring into others. And because of you, our cups overflow with joy, love, and unforgettable memories.

Just to be a part of your legacy feels like an honor all on its own.

The lives you touched; your children, grandchildren, and countless friends, are the living seeds of your love, each carrying your spirit with pride.

You showed us how to live with creativity, with strength, with heart, and with humor. And now we carry that forward.

You did a wonderful job.

Job well done, Mae Mae.

Job well done.
