A foolish man is afraid of the unknown, while a wise man steps into the unknown to discover more about themselves. So we have shielded ourselves from true self discovery because we have found comfort as well as peace in our routines and emotional patterns. By doing this you become stagnant and stunt your growth, you might know some parts of yourself, but in your comfort you’ll fail to realize that it takes a whole lifetime to truly discover yourself. You are a multifaceted soul, you have many layers and many things to discover about yourself.
