LIFE AFTER SELF

The road to self discovery, self acceptance and self love is very lonely, so lonely that you may begin to get used to the feeling of being alone. One may begin to feel comfort in being alone which is why I believe that this is one of the hardest phases to get out of after discovering yourself, it’s hard to get back into the groove of allowing other people and things into your life. At the same time, it is important that you do allow people and things back into your life after you’ve discovered who you are because 9 times out of 10 they are meant for you, they are either your blessings after your long road of self discovery or your testaments to know that you’ve truly discovered who you are. Either way it goes, it is pivotal that you allow and accept love, help and compassion from others after taking time to yourself instead of being closed off and stuck in “self mode”. It is okay to be open, it is okay to allow others to love you, and it is okay to allow others to get to know you. You never know what your impact is on someone else’s life, sometimes you may be their inspiration or motivation to discover themselves, if you stay closed off you’ll only defeat the purpose of self discovery. Share your knowledge, share your truths and share your self love so that others may be able learn from you and discover themselves too.
